Upcoming workshops: Join us!
Hi everyone,
Time to get serious about my blog. Website is updated; let's talk!
This blog is to let you know that I have two virtual workshops coming up, one on May 28th and the other on June 18 (both Fridays). You can find more information out about these workshops (including how to register) on my calendar page and via the links below.
These workshops represent my own efforts to open a door between psychological practice and community leadership. Psychology has influenced every one of us; we all have good insights into how we become the individuals. Now is the time to take such insights and find out more about the people we are. Specifically, it is time to use psychology to find out more about who we are collectively, so that we can remember how to be a people.
The May 28 workshop, The Psychological Century, addresses the need to develop a psychological response to the culture wars within our communities, nation, and the world. In this workshop, we will also explore the opportunities that we each have to bring our psychological awareness to bear on any and every context we find ourselves in. We are all capable of using this awareness to contribute to our communities.
The June 18 workshop, We Can Pull Ourselves Back Together, addresses the erosion of belonging at the root of the culture wars within our communities. We can gather together in conversation and psychological practice to cultivate a new experience of belonging, and to bring that experience into all of our daily interactions.
The workshops that I'm offering are a response to the larger political forces influencing American culture and the world. These workshops support people in finding their own voices of leadership, whether that be within your families, places of work, neighborhoods, local organizations, or within a larger community.
