Healing and Justice: Two Paths, One Practice

Healing and Justice: Two Paths, One Practice

In this blog series, I explore the intersection of two essential paths to human freedom: the external pursuit of political justice and the internal journey of psychological healing. Together, these paths offer a framework for addressing both the crises of our communities and the personal suffering born of loneliness and disconnection.

The groups I convene are spaces of belonging where mutual growth becomes the foundation for meaningful civic engagement, moving participants outward into their neighborhoods and communities in acts of service. In some cases toward learning to convene their own groups.

This work draws from a tapestry woven from the social sciences, the insights of psychotherapy, and a long tradition of social activism. It is an integrative practice that does not separate the personal from the political, or the healing of the individual from the transformation of the world.
